Overview
The Microframe SMPTE Time Code Sync Master (Model D8010) is both a master smpte time-code generator and a smpte
time-code display for video frame time stamping. It requires no wireless signal or continuous tethered connection -
it simply syncs...and stays synced. The Sync Master is the industry’s first and most affordable SMPTE time-code
generator and display reference contained in a pocket-sized form factor. It remains synchronized to other Sync
Masters or any SMTPE time code source for up to 8 hours with at most ±1 frame of deviation.
Typical battery life is 6-8 hours
User Settings
The follwoing are user configurable settings adjusted by using the three buttons on the end of the Sync
Master
- Start Time
- Sleep Time ( how long the LED's illuminate after button press)
- Frame Rates 3.976, 24, 25, 29.97, 29.97 DF and 30 frames per second.
- Flip Display direction (D8010 only) for cabeling or other reasons you may want to have the BNC connector
on the right instead of left.
- Hours Shift (D8009 onlly) for shoots where you need two digits of hours, combine "even" and "odd" frame
indicators and show a full 2 digits of hours.
- Display brightness. Set how bright LED indicators are to save battery life or match camera settings.

Limited Warranty Information
Microframe extends a 1-year limited warranty on all products** which covers failure, parts, and service. During the warranty period, if a product fails or malfunctions, we will repair or replace the unit at no charge if it is due to product failure and not damage or abuse. After the 1-year limited warranty is expired, all repairs will be subject to a minimal repair fee. Limited Warranty Exclusion
Limited Warranty does not cover the repair/replacement of power adapters, antennas, pager belt clips, pager battery doors, pager buttons, user-replaceable batteries (alkaline or rechargeable), pager storage cases, liquid or heat damage, or lightning strikes. Limited Warranty also does not cover lost, stolen, or damaged products.
