Easy-to-Use Operation
Controlling the D0240 is straightforward. Simply send numbers followed by a carriage return (ASCII 13D) from your computer or controller, and the value will appear on the display.
- Send a number followed by a carriage return (ASCII 13D) to display the value.
- Send only a carriage return to clear the display.
- Include a decimal point in the number string to illuminate the decimal point on the display.
- Include a colon in the number string to display the colon.
- Enable the selectable leading-zero blanking option for a cleaner, easier-to-read display.
Positive and Negative Number Display
The D0240 can display both positive and negative integers. Positive values can use all four digit positions, such as 1234. When displaying a negative value, the minus sign occupies the first position, leaving three digits available for the number, such as -123.
